Covid-19 Update

At this time, Downtown Burbank continues to monitor the news around COVID-19 and the recommendations of public health officials as well as all federal, state, and local government guidelines. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors announced additional precautions, which includes the City of Burbank.

All bars, clubs, theaters, entertainment centers, and fitness centers in Los Angeles County are ordered to be closed until further notice. Restaurants will be permitted to serve take out or delivery food only and grocery stores will remain open. Some nonessential businesses including florists, as well as book, clothing, music, toy, and sporting goods stores will be open for curbside pick-up with adherence to social distancing and health protocols.

Curbside pick-up zones: To help facilitate the increased volume of pick-up and delivery orders, the Downtown Burbank PBID is working with the City of Burbank to implement temporary curbside pick-up zones. This temporary designation will permit customers to park for a short period of 15 minutes to pick-up to-go orders from local dining establishments or designated retailers. All locations will be determined based on safety, traffic, and the final approval of the City’s Public Works Department. Temporary signage will be installed throughout Downtown to designate Curbside Pick-Up Zones. These zones will be temporary, and may change at the City’s digression at any time. If you have any questions about these temporary curbside pick-up zones, please contact the Downtown Burbank PBID at: info@dtnbur.com.

All City buildings and recreation facilities along with libraries will be closed to the public until further notice. As always, City of Burbank safety personnel will be available along with crucial city services. This includes Police, Fire, Public Works, and Burbank Water and Power workers.
